Sally got laid off from her job and Fifi is the "temp" They don't know that Fifi is a poodle!

My name is Fifi and I am a poodle. I know, I know what you're thinking
that I have a fluffed up life, that I lay on the couch all day long
being pampered and demanding. But today I changed places with my owner
who got laid off and I will, I say, I will get her job back!

Look at her laying there, like a lump on the couch, her face all red and
puffed up, tissues everywhere, crying buckets of tears! For what I say?
For what? A job? Get off the couch and go shopping I say! Stop that
crying!

Will she listen to me?

No!

Well, I have to walk to her job and it should be interesting to say the
least.

How am I going to get in there. No Pets Allowed!

I rush upstairs to her closet and find a hat and cover my face. Maybe if
I put on alot of perfume I will at least smell like her!

Later on that same day...

3:00 pm...

How do I know that? I heard someone say

Hey, it's 3 pm. I'm a dog, I can't tell time!

The front door opens and I rush in before the door is shut.

I scout out the place of employment before I take any action.

To my left is a water cooler blocked by men and women laughing and
talking loudly.

I listen from behind the magazine rack. Yes, I'm that small!

"Did you hear that Sally got sacked last week?"

"You're kidding me! She has been here for years. She could be part of
the furniture."

"Well, good riddance! She never fit into this crowd anyway!"

"It could happen to any of us! Don't be so glad! She was suppose to be
your friend!"

"Nobody is my friend here. It's every man or woman for themselves!"

"That's a selfish attitude!"

"Yep. That's what I am. Selfish!"

"Well, it's after 3 pm, gotta get back to the desk."

The crowd by the water cooler dispurses.

From behind the magazine rack, Fifi listens and shakes her head.

"Mutiny!!"

Fifi approaches the desk, making sure her hat is hiding her face.

The phone rings.

"Will someone answer the phone?"

They all look at Fifi.

"Answer the phone yourself! Can't you see I can't talk and I have no
hands!"

The phone rings and rings until one of the girls answers it.
