Summer's End (standard:poetry, 36 words)
Author: Reid LaurenceAdded: Oct 14 2011Views/Reads: 2324/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
One of the things we cannot control is the power of nature and the changing seasons...

Leaves crash to earth

As summer's end

Finds us

To rebirth

Bare trees

And solitude

Of winter

Does reverse

The bright sun

Instead

But all

Lend verse

We stand

Helpless

To nature's play

And freezing curse
