Writing through some tough times in my life... metaphorically put, I've heard the song of the sirens. | |||
Don't listen to the song They'll have you thinking wrong Just go your way And never say You gave in to the throng I lift my pen to write But cannot stand the sight The words a mess I did my best But can't tell right from wrong The thing that I must do Is ask you to be true And tie me to In every hue The mast I must pursue Now turn my head away And let the music play I do not care I told you where I've nothing left to say I've written much the time Through sirens shrieking rhyme Reprove me if I break these bonds That hold me so entwine Tweet
