Trying to understand life.

Searching

At times I stray,
From the well worn path,
Searching, seeking,
For what? I wish I could say.

At times I fall,
My way not clear,
Searching, seeking,
Listening for a voice to call.

At times I cry,
My pain is real,
Searching, seeking,
Needing the answers to why.

At times I pray,
For my very soul I fear,
Searching, seeking.
Forgiveness from God today.
