Gargoyles exist for our own good...

Carved in stone

Protect us in

A place inside

Bereft of sin

And evil does

Think twice to meet

In touch become

By His entreat

The guilty ones

Who've broken code

And law's insight

With haste take hold

The Gargoyle he

Does wander far

By nighttime journey

Boulevard

To hunt by hour

Path to crime

And mark the evil

One more time

But then become

By evening end

Return to stone

In peace again
