You And I (standard:poetry, 86 words)
Author: Reid LaurenceAdded: Jun 12 2010Views/Reads: 2611/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
A measure of trust in every relationship... but what of that trust when it is broken?

I wake and I leave

But cannot deceive

Intent I have felt

Has led me to weave

A cloth that grows largely

To cover my past

It must hide the story

Two rings may not last

But yours was so fitting

So clear and so true

A splendid demeanor

Reflection of you

Please don't remove it

Please keep it on

A picture devotion

Of you that lives on

An art of life motion

In time and all due

Remember your person

Did send me to you
