Can love be contained by four walls? Or is it bigger than that? | |||
Beyond the Atmosphere What you see isn't what it appears to be. It isn't panic in my eye. It's a wish for a clear blue sky. ~ When darkness comes to call my greatest fear is I'll fall. I forget all I've been taught. Can only feel lost and distraught. ~ With a blink of an eye it disappears. A hand reaches across the vast frontiers. What once was isn't anymore. I, yet again, close the past's painful door. ~ Only love has a healing cure. I acknowledge I'll never be completely pure. On the wings of a butterfly a turtle found a love which won't die. ~ In return I discover a once in a lifetime lover. They say the world isn't a perfect place. I find that a lie in your handsome face. ~ Nothing moves me as much as your words. Spoken from a glass heart and never slurred. My ultimate truth is found in you. An unwavering love, for us, is long overdue. ~ So if you see the anxiety in my eye, worried thoughts I can't deny. They come, you have to understand, from the fear of losing the heart of brilliant man. ~ Beautiful rainbows have been made. We've been measured and weighed. There is no lack, or fault. In a love which can't be brought. © February 17, 2010 by Lori Tweet
