Friends Again (standard:poetry, 76 words)
Author: Reid LaurenceAdded: Apr 12 2010Views/Reads: 2820/2Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
Friends we used to have still linger on in memory - so much so, that you think you know what they might say if they were actually there...

Those I've lost

Become my gain

And I have made them friends again

They live inside

My glass and then

Is it half empty?

Remember when?

They visit me

My mind again?

Or is it real?

Of me and them

I just can't say

They talk to me

Is justice blind

To what I see?

I tarry not

In my en-vy

My life is lived

In place of me

And those I touch

I barely see
