Another one shortly after I found out my best friend was leaving for Tampa. This one is about accepting the pain.

You haven't left,

It's not even official,

But just the thought,

Of you leaving my side,

Explodes my brain,

Continuously stabs my heart,

And irritates my eyes.

Just sitting here,

Writing this,

Pains me deeply.

The thought of

You not being there.

Drowns me in impenetrable sorrow.

My days will pass by,

Some slowly,

Others more quickly.

But it doesn't matter,

Because time won't exist.

My days will be a

Continuous routine.

No surprises,

All predictable patterns.

If I talk,

I'll mumble.

I'll ace all of my

Classes because work

Will pass time.

I'll go through school,

Like a ghost,

Floating through

A graveyard.

When you leave,

My dear sister,

My eyes will

Once again become irritated.

I would never hurt myself,

With you gone.

No need to worry about me.
