A poem that really can only be truley understood if you ride horses.

Hope For Joy

A prison unseen, unheard, untouched, unfelt.

Not knowing what is right and what is mistaken.

My life contains no freedom for me to be me.

Even my poetry has boundaries for me now,

My only hope for joy is to ride the wind.

To spend hour after hour on your back.

To relish in the trust that is a horse.

The love that can only be seen in one without words completely trusting
in me.

My horse, not mine in law but mine in love,

You will be mine to adore someday.
