Waiting times By Lisa Prior Why must I spend my life always waiting? Waiting for love, Waiting for laughter, Waiting for the shoe to drop? Sometimes I think so, I find myself waiting alone, So very often alone, Waiting for you. Waiting for you to see, Just what you are giving up, For you to see the pain you cause, With just simple words. It hurts so much, That the love I hold so true, Isn't enough for you, And that I'm back in waiting time again. Tweet
