Author: CyranoAdded: Dec 31 2008Views/Reads: 2989/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
When I sit my ass in my saddle, I thank the Lord for Mr. Strauss.

He came to California, his name is Levi Strauss

And in 1847 he came looking for a house

With bolts of cloth he sailed Cape Horn

To mend the tents and wagons

But pants were needed, and this he heeded

Those first ones came with buttons!

Then rivets for the pockets, and fancy stitching too

These workman clothes they lasted long

And he colored them indigo blue.
