When I sit my ass in my saddle, I thank the Lord for Mr. Strauss. | |||
He came to California, his name is Levi Strauss And in 1847 he came looking for a house With bolts of cloth he sailed Cape Horn To mend the tents and wagons But pants were needed, and this he heeded Those first ones came with buttons! Then rivets for the pockets, and fancy stitching too These workman clothes they lasted long And he colored them indigo blue. Tweet
