Sometimes you have to be on the outside looking in to see the "true" picture. And sometimes the outsider longs to be the person on the inside. | |||
Family Portrait ~ I saw you. Two rows up. Looked you in the eye. Didn't recognize love when you saw it. Or could it have been you felt it from the person sitting beside you instead? ~ Watched you hold hands with your son. Thought how great it would be to know what was on your mind. ~ Saw her touch you. Wondered how it felt to do that in the light. ~ She whispered to you. I watched you grin. Were they words of love or just a private moment shared? ~ You pulled away for a while. Thought you might be thinking of me. Until I saw the guilt sink in. ~ She cradled you in her arms. Click here to read the rest of this story (33 more lines)
