I LOVE a challenge. Get me to thinking and I can come up with anything :o). This is another creative challenge poem. You had to use the words "take me with you." In this one, I'm asking the question every person in love asks.

My Heart's Final Pleas

~

On the long journey of life,

when we can't be together,

you going your way,

and I'm going mine,

please consider this,

Take me with you.

~

On the lonely days,

when everything is going wrong,

things can't get any more crazy,

and you just want to escape,

take me with you.

~

On the busy days,

where everything you do

isn't good enough for someone else,

makes you want to just scream out loud

and run naked down the street,

take me with you.

~

On the happy days,

when love is in bloom,

and you see the moon and the stars,

long to soar high above

and be embraced by the clouds,

take me with you.

~

Anywhere you go,

no matter how far or how near,

good, bad, happy, or sad,

nothing matters as long as you

take me with you.
