I don't like this title. If anyone who reads it can think of a better one I would GREATLY appreciate it. Conclusion to the "Heart" series. | |||
Hearts Turn Away ~ Two hearts in limbo. Lie to themselves while trying to protect hearts. Say one thing yet covering faces with masks of disguise. Believe “life” can go on, though knowing it won't. Do things to avoid their matching heart beat. Act in certain ways by dodging what they feel. Lost in the days when living was easier. Bygone days before they met the one they're longing for most. ~ Both wait for the pain to subside. Abide until not merely existing begins again. Delay thoughts until they're clear. Anticipate the end of feeling. ~ Both dream of the less difficult. Dream of lives being completely different. Dream of arousal's hidden desires. Dream of sweet release. ~ Both hope for something more. Click here to read the rest of this story (65 more lines)
