Sometimes you hate yourself because of the way you love another. That's the meaning behind this poem. | |||
Hate to Love You The best thing about you, is the way you know me. No one has taken the time, which you give so freely. Why are you so special when your heart can't belong to me alone? Why can't I keep secrets from someone who wants my heart to be his own? Don't you see we're heading for disaster? You made me love you, against my will, I might add, by being the wonderful person you are. I want to hate you for what you know and for understanding me so well. But my heart doesn't turn back once it's freely given. So hate to love you I will. For not only are you inside my heart, but also my soul. © October 10, 2007 by Lori Tweet
