I worte this poem during a time I was feeling low. I started to think back, and this is what came. | |||
I find myself sitting and pondering while thinking about who I have become. Thinking about where I am and then where I came from. The decisions I have made along this rugged path. Were they made spur of the moment, or were they made to last? If I could go back I wouldn't change a thing. I would still dance in the dark and laugh when I sing. I would still ride a bike and jump on the bed. Nothing would I think to change. No matter the pain in my head. The things I had to go through the friends I had to loose. Nothing would I change even if I could choose. Not the scrapes on my knees or the tears my eyes shed. Not the fights with my brothers or the stiches in my head. Not the fear I felt or the anger that I hid. They all made me who I am now a bowl with no lid. I am letting you know now everyhting that is me. I am letting it all out for everyone to see. I made the decisions I did. No matter the cost. I am counting the things I gained not the things I lost. Whether it be socks or toys; Or the friends that I had. I will not keep letting it make me so sad. Times have changed and so have I. I let it all out and now I let out a sigh. Tweet
