Is it really possible to live after love? I'm not sure but that is the subject of this poem? | |||
Learning to Live Again ~ I've closed the door. Locked it tight, threw away the key. No one enters, no escape. ~ I'm a shell. Don't want to pretend. Won't deal with the pain. Can't live without your love. What's my name? ~ The mask in place. The blinds pulled. No one will see how hurt I am. No one will know how much I love you. ~ The world is my oyster. To do with as I please. I'm to live again. Wonder what kind it will be. © January 30, 2008 by Lori Tweet
