Short poem on the lonely side of love.

Drowning in the Sea of Sorrow

My soul cries

for freedom.

My heart dies

without you.

Both broken

from love's game.

~

My body sings

joylessly.

Mind screams

out your name.

Both desire

a word from

their beloved.

~

Everyone hears.

Everyone cares.

Everyone loves.

Everyone cries.

Except for

the one who

matters.
