Haley's Comet (standard:poetry, 59 words)
Author: CyranoAdded: Nov 29 2007Views/Reads: 3435/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
I hear you, Dad...love catches fire and speeds toward the heavens.

Looking up the sky is blue, but beyond that a vast darkness. In that
universe a voice crackles, shines and blazes through the empty dark,
words that cut and shave through nothingness, bending round planets
between my father and me. Words scorching across space; a white fire
holding onto Haley's comet, words that will never fade... 'I love you.'
