This poem can mean different things to different people. To me, it means I'm putting the past to rest.

Death to You

Blood,

torn flesh,

high fires,

smoking guns,

hole in the heart,

grasping for air,

life slipping away,

cold creeping in,

Grim Reaper standing by,

love growing cold,

depressing setting in,

madness taking over,

alibi created,

I've thought of everything,

taken care of it all.

The only thing left

is to carry it out.

Of bringing

death to you.
