Later we can hide

under the covers.

~

For now, we must deal

with the sun in our eyes.

Making us run faster,

like we're hypnotized.

~

The race is getting closer,

we take each step in hand.

Ever moving faster,

proving life is grand.

~

Let us explore this thing,

see if there's a chance.

Allow it to carry us

to the next level.

See if we can dance.

~

Love is something

we, all, strive for.

It can be a blessing,

or a chore.

~

Running hard,

asking for the heart.

But it's best

when are first

Friends from the start.
