If you can figure it out, then let me know what this poem is about :o). It came to me as I sit down to write something else. Enjoy and feedback is most appreciated. | |||
Loneliness You are gone today, you have went away. I long for your voice in my ear. There's something so sweet I want to hear. Today I haven't heard, from you, a single word. I sit and worry, about what you're going through. All day, in town, I hurried. For I knew you would call. But you are bruised for your fall. I know the answer before I ask, but there are questions looming in my head that I can't get past. Do you still love me? Is it over? Was this all it was to be? Have you run for cover? My biggest fault is insecurity. You're in pain and all I can think about is me. I image the pain you're in, and how great it must be, for I know that would be the only reason, you wouldn't be with me. You gave me a poem yesterday. It was so sweet and beautiful. What can I say? You made me cry by putting your feelings that way. This is corny and stupid! I can't write poetry. But the one thing I can do. Is to love you. And trust me when I say. There is no one I love the way I LOVE YOU! © October 29, 2007 by Lori Tweet
