Dad, how I wish, 

You could see, 

Your grandchildren today. 

What a smile, 

They would bring to your face. 

And I am still, 

Daddy's little girl. 

No matter how far, 

Away you are. 

No matter the distance, 

Or the span. 

No matter the coffin, 

Or the grave. 

I will forever remain, 

Daddy's little girl. 

In tribute to my father, James Allen Wallingsford, I (August 17,
1949-October 20,1980). Dad, I will always be your little girl. No even 
death can take that from me.
