DEAD LETTER Dear Mother, I'm not the one you foresee for a future, bright & unclouded. I'm the forsaken, an undependable, scarred composure who has been dead for a long while now. This body I carry, this figure I portray is a corpse in a wedding dress which from a distance appears to be a beauty, but as one approaches, the true assassination is fully displayed. A walking zombie, tanned & butchered to the soul is all this body is. The sun for me now is a curse; the moon is a blinding because the leaves of my memories, good & bad, have now fallen. The death unintentional, the past unforgiving lies beside me & strokes my head each time I try to close my eyes. I can't sleep; it's getting hard to breathe, with no one to hold me tonight. I bleed just to know I'm mortal but the blood is frozen in my veins. I'm so cold. The screams are audible & the death is visible to all but communication is just a one-way process. Silence is unavoidable and I'm captured in a vicious circle. I'm waiting for emancipation & my nirvana is awaited.... LONG GONE...... Tweet
