Poem about dreaming | |||
By Moonlight By Molly Ellen McMurphy The universe revolves around My everlasting dreams And it seems as though I'm floating past The present, past, and future Into whirlwinds of color And I hover over clouds And towns and trees and I run Through thoughts and memories Of years and tears And broken mirrors And long lost friends And faded blurrs Until my body stirs And I awake into the darkness Of the night broken only By the light of the moon And I soon lie down again To rest and wander.
