When true desires overpower practical thinking... | |||
Life has been ordinary for the last few months. It's very hard to live life for a change instead of fighting for the meaning of it all. Somehow I miss waiting for those magic moments to come into my life like a beautiful song leaving me with that smile of satisfaction. Each day goes by just being ordinary. Just trying to do what every person does. Being happy and content with a regular life. ‘He' said life is simple so I've been trying it for a while; it's a pleasant experience. Last night I couldn't sleep, the questions in my head kept me awake and uneasy. Who am I? Am I truly happy with my life at this moment? Once again my thoughts stir up emotions put away in the safe house of my conscience. They take me to places, which bring out the magic in my dreams. The ocean, the forest, and the mountains... My eyes need to see them; I have been stuck in a city life with a chaotic program, working round the clock for far too long now... Is that all left for me now? I want to be away from all these things from time to time. I need the silence. I need nature. My soul is yearning for it. My reality... Can't wait till I get onto the back of that white stallion and get transported into the magical world of my imagination. Where the trees talk to me, the sky smiles for me. I want to hear the water. I want to sit by the river and watch her flow gently, and as my feet touch her cold embrace I get flashes of things that existed millions of years ago... The river tells me her story, how years ago she was overwhelming and severe. Her fierce spirit would rush to find the end of her existence. She would flow with such passion searching for her answers. And if anything or anybody came in her way they would find themselves at the bottom of her embrace, as she would hold them to show them what she was looking for. Show them a way to step outside that protected shell... I smiled, as my spirit instantly understood that intensity. But now I too have become calm, the wild child in me has gone to sleep and the calm spirit would like to identify situations before plunging into unfamiliarity. Sometimes I miss her that fierce spirit, unafraid of the unknown, would walk into the darkness, into her fears just to experience the emotions of what happened next. Who would climb tress, and walk on narrow walls with a 30 feet drop if her foot slipped. The girl who would jump onto the back of the wildest horse and ride even harder every time she fell. Today I look back at my past and smile. I have come a long way from where I was. That was one phase or maybe many in one. Sometimes I feel like she was a different person. But in the end I close my eyes, and imagine the future and that same fiery, fierce spirit makes me smile awaiting the next phase... Tweet
