Only Me (standard:poetry, 109 words)

A poem of only me.

My soul doth cry, Yet I know not why. My tears will never dry, Yet I
know not why. All that I am is a lie, Yet I know not why. I see my
death is nigh, Yet I know not why. From all my wounds I slowly bleed,
My love, once pure, Has now been tainted. My hope abounding, Limps with
body bowing. My innocent dreams, Torn at there very seams. All that is
left is death, My final quest. Tearing free, I finally see, That all is
lost. There is no light to guide my way, Nor flame where I might be
claimed. There is only me.
