Title speaks volumes. | |||
Did you ever weep so hard that snot ran from your nose, congealed with tears, and seeped passed your lips? Did your heart ever break in such a way that every day its place in your chest felt like a spindly thicket? Did you ever leave a summer field, walk toward the horizon and know you'll never make it? Did you ever sit out in a storm and feel so splattered with sodden clay that your arms refused to move? Did you ever want to ride the wild wind to somewhere, anywhere, just to be alone with the emptiness of life knowing that it will never recover its beauty? Did you? Did you ever want to go to a place where the whistling of death is more comfortable than the melody of life? Or ever feel so detached and afraid that just the simple act of remembering brings to life the quivering of ghosts? Did you ever feel the desire to grab every person by the throat who said ‘time heals'? Did you? Did you ever think of paradise with a grimace on your face? Did you ever feel so afraid that your eyes flamed in their sockets, your cheeks hollowed, your tongue coated with velvet, and every bone in your body brittled? Did you? Did you know that grief is the master of silence? Tweet
