A TRIBUTE... | |||
“Hello beautiful friend :-) thanks for your story. I feel we know each other so well; that I can feel the many emotions behind these words. You are truly not to blame for the awful things that have happened to you. And you are quite amazing in the way you have built your healing process - you are a very self-sufficient and independent being. This is one of your many strengths. A strength which will help you all of your life, in the times to come where pain might visit again. This makes you very different, very much stronger. We never know what might cross our path in the future - sudden unexpected events change whole personal landscapes. Having the strength and resilience to adjust and rebuild is a great benefit. 2005 is tomorrow! It will bring many changes for me, it's time to stir and travel alone to learn more about myself. In many ways you've inspired me; to look deeper inside myself than I'd previously dared - beyond my comfortable shell. Thanks again for sharing your words and the deep emotions behind them.:-)” These words are of a man who has touched my life.That is why today my story is about you “PGN”.Your words have been hope to my defeated soul. You saw the light in me which was only a want, a desire to be. We found each other on a site and we have been friends ever since. It was because of him I started writing on nice stories.com.He found me at a stage in my life where there was only self created chaos. A messed up girl trying to find her way.And in that state he was calm. He didn't run away from me. He told me about his life and his words gave me solace. I want to share our life with you all.This is how we started. These are his replies to all my tormenting questions: LEARNING It's great to read of someone who puts learning (in the most abstract sense) at the top of the list. Too often learning is just associated with exploiting knowledge financially. Learning, living and freedom of spirit ... what more is needed? RECOGNISING Yes, learning to deal rather than block does make sense. It indicates openness, an increasing confidence with our surroundings, an enthusiasm to interact and learn from the roller-coaster ride, maybe even start to have some control over directions. You seem to be developing your thirst for experience - where before blocking to remain in a safer cocoon might have seemed more reasonable. Enlightenment might just be that - an opening of our minds to the flow of ideas that move past us. And being able to recognize those with personal relevance, ideas which we can connect to and share - being able to distinguish the beauty from the noise. UNDERSTANDING The easiest place to look for answers is outside - taking some else's solution, some else's spiritualism, their god, You don't seem to be a person looking for the easiest solutions; rather more a person looking for your own personal truth ... not quite so easy. I believe you've found your first truth - that the answers to you questions are within. Perhaps from this, your view of your environment will change; instead of looking for answers outside to draw into yourself, your challenge will be to decrypt the answers hidden within your mind, and use your interactions with others to provide the assistance rather than the solutions themselves. Maybe people try to hold onto the past for a security that they are comfortable with - perhaps a time when they found a single answer, however incomplete. Instead of excitedly looking for more answers, it is easier to expand that single answer into a life philosophy, to hang a whole life's existence on what might only be a single seedling - when growing a forest might have been possible if the Click here to read the rest of this story (257 more lines)
