Poem about a battle between the sun, the moon and I

I kissed the sun today with all my hopes and dreams The sun and I were
lovers in all of these things But the sun was scared of all that I did
want And into the west he fled, below the horizon he hid Left me in the
shadows of the bleakest night The silver moon laughed at my pain And
called me nothing but a fool My tears soaked the lands and flooded
towns Giving me no relief But then the sun rose to comfort me My
heartache healed swiftly I kissed the sun today with all my hopes and
dreams I await the morrow to see what comes of the union Of hope and
love mixed with dreaming For the sun will always run from me Frightened
by determination and strength But always he will return To see what new
stone I have turned And when the moon arises once more To mock what I
have precariously built up I'll turn my back and bite my tongue For I
kissed the sun today.
