A poem about the darkest night of all time.

Angels drop upon their knees, crying tears of blood Straining for
salvation gone, stolen from their arms Children blessed with ravid
death, raging deep within Stealing breath from tiny lips, kissing souls
dead Heaven weeping torrent floods to wash away the disease Sweeping
waves of dark pain coat the desperate land As chaos in it's mass
destruction runs wild with no plan Prayers offered to fallen gods,
their wings cut in two No flight tonight, no relief or reprieve from
the sins living For hell in throngs of pointed horns and whispered
chuckles Rises from it's firey home to whip the saints to pieces Mercy
shattered in a vase left ontop the mantle No one shall be released
tonight, for hell has it's shackle Weeping mothers begging please as
their lives dissolve to nothing Brave young men withered old in the
passing of one moon Aged and wise so few these days give no breath in
their bed Tonight all hell is breaking loose, for heaven has been
defeated Silvery grace once high and mighty bound in broken chains
Barbwire nettle cuts their flesh and tastes their blood so sweet
Drawing tears in rivelets down once irridescent cheeks Golden halos
stamped in dismay upon the dirty ground The night is smiling upon the
massacre of holiest divine Tonight is the night that sanity is lost to
all who held it high
