Love has become A four letter word It's past its best, And seldom heard, . It's left on the shelf Like cigarettes Bad for your health. * I remember When I was but a kid, From responsibly We all hid, . Falling in love What a joke it was From way above. * Now I'm older And I know how people think, They're after one thing Makes my heart sink, . That's how animals are We know that love Isn't pure by far. * And when you've said "I love you" It's never meant Though you think you do, .
