Sigh, it's another poem about dreams. I've written it and revised it, and now I want to know what people think. The title is not mine, I stole it from a song. | |||
Misty Strange Dimension Sad gray eyes and laughing faces dream a dream of you and me. Not until we sleep with phantoms can we finally be free. Sleep in dreams of constant watchers, shadow suns and silent wails. Hollow forms with distant voices spark your lonely friends' betrayals. Voices calling, formless speakers, walk the land that once was dead. Mystic dreams wakened are nearing, shaping worlds inside your head. Eyes and voices mock your dreaming, there within the time submerged, speak the truths you know you're seeking, spin the void and faceless world. Senseless minds whose voices whisper drive the darkness that you see, pronounce names you knew were coming, dream a dream for you and me. Tweet
