night and monsters | |||
Night As night falla and shaddows leap, and all but the brave are asleep, out of the dark there do creep, a creature good does not keep. This creature of fear and fright, comes out never but in deep night, all fear this - the bravest knight, the peasant, farmer, child with kite. The creature lurks along it's way as it would not do in the day, and anything that not asleep lay, it shall take far away to slay. The golden daylight is all it fears, as it comes he disappears, as the cocks waking cry he hears, the villagers shed happy tears. But night comes again and again, and somethings you cannot tame.
