Just some of the maybe's in life.

Maybe when I'm gone, they'll miss me, 

Maybe they might even cry for me. 

Maybe if I end it all, they'll realize, 

Maybe they'll see I wasn't telling lies. 

Maybe Dad'll lose his temper though, 

Maybe he'll really sink that low. 

Maybe he'll try and break me again, 

Maybe that won't be the end. 

Maybe suicide ain't all that bad, 

Maybe he won't be all that sad. 

Maybe I don't really care, 

Maybe it's more than I can bear. 

Maybe Dad'll hit me 

Maybe he won't let me be. 

Maybe I don't really love him. 

Maybe I'm going out on a limb. 

Maybe I want this hell to be over, 

Maybe I could find a four-leaf clover. 

Maybe if my life I take, 

Maybe he'll realize his mistake.
