| Just a song about a night I had | |||
I got off of work a bit after four But on my way home, I stopped by the store I purchased a bottle I picked it up cheap I'll just have a shot so I can go sleep Well that's what I said before I was drunk But now that I am, I'm down on my luck I won't go to bed till this bottle is through I'm going to do it and so will all you Oh, I can only have one more drink But first I'll get up go and take a leak When I came back I stared at the floor Oh what the hell! I'll have a few more Well that's what I said before I was drunk But now that I am, I'm down on my luck I won't go to bed till this bottle is through I'm going to do it and so will all you Now here I am, hugging a bowl Heaving and hurling out of control My stomach is sore my complexion is green I learned my limit if you know what I mean Well now here I am slobbering drunk I can't believe how low I have sunk So when they say, “Just have one more drink.” Maybe that's something that you should rethink Tweet
