Day the Towers Fell September 11, 2001 with a clear morning sky above them no thoughts of evil there to dwell a morning like so many others until the towers fell thousands and thousands of innocents working jobs they new so well no knowledge of pending terror and then the towers fell quickly rescue workers rushed there into the burning hell without thought of danger to themselves and then the towers fell then to a shocked and saddened nation rage born of grief and anger swell and then vengeance's mad creation because the towers fell a nation's loss of innocence with a staggering price to tell the costs of lack of vigilance when the towers fell no longer like wide eyed children believing optimism's easy sell now a time for terror's reign to end because the towers fell a strengthening of resolve and will only the passage of time will tell but a mighty nation still even though the towers fell by p.j .lawton Tweet
