No one hears his cry She wants her way He will not agree She captures the child And holds him for ransom The strife has begun The battle terms are set Who will win Who will lose Poor little victim Crying, with fear deep Understanding not What the protectors are about Tears stream down his face Tension grips his soul He doesn't understand He wants it to stop Why must the child Be a pawn in this game The defenseless one is laid Victim to their quarrel His heart will never Recover from this hurt But it matters not to them Because one must win, one must lose Paul Tweet
