a tidy little free write poem | |||
Water turned to dust on my toothbrush, filling my head with the grime of life. My Noe-barbie pink hair crimping in the lime light, spot lights like razor blades rip me open and reveal the new me, shouting for the worlds attention. Listen to my rambling, the fear of life that lives in the dark depths of my brain, happiness that grows like a disease, turning my skin blue with complementary dispair. Blue jeans like second skins brush past me with distain, music based on numbers making my head sway in time. Hearing words not meant to be shared. Singing along with life in the shower while I'm trying to wash it away and get down to the true me. Tweet
