Soiled (standard:poetry, 84 words)

a poem about me

Splattered angerilly all over the surrounding whiteness

Soiled, covered in my lost confidence

Spilling out of me in waves, as I willingly give it away

Force myself to leave it behind

Flush it away and Run. Away from myself and the world.

Screaming, scared and hiding, waiting to be taken away, beyond myself.

Such common feelings, I feel like a worn cliche, feeling the same as
half the world.

I am the voices of millions, reaching out to be heard, to be held,
comforted.
