A woman dreaming of the day before she lost her husband

A life long dream

It was early Sunday morning when I woke up from my bed. I was still
laying down my eyes half way shut staring towards the open window. Who
had opened it? I rolled around to find that my lover wasn't resting
beside me anymore. My body still heated. I stared toward the open doors
out into the hall way and sat up. I stretched out and licked my silky
lips. I slowly moved toward the open doors and walked out in the cold
hall. Me in my lacey pink tank top and baby blue shorts. My small feet
cold from the wooden floor. I heard the familiar voice of the man that
I new in the kitchen down stairs.

A smile curved over my lips as I slipped on my fuzzy slippers and walked
out across the hall toward the stairwell; I walked down stairs moving
into the kitchen and leaning against the door way. My pierced eyes
staring toward my lover I remember the time or our love making just
before I woke up. Sweet eyes rested upon his form as he approached me.
His warm gently arms grasping around my waist and his chin resting
against my shoulder as he leaned down to kiss my neck. I gave a giggle
and kissed his forehead before pulling away.

My feet dragging me to the coffee pot as I pull a cup from the cupboard
above and pour in some coffee, Gabe coming again behind me and grasping
his arms around my body. I turn around in his arms and lean up to his
tall form and place a kiss to his lips. He smiles and brings me into a
warm everlasting embrace as we both walk away from the kitchen and out
into the living room. We sit on the couch I sipping my coffee as he
leaned back staring directly to me.

“What..?” I whisper lightly to him with my always so quiet French
accent.

“Nothing...just admiring you beauty” His voice...so deep and caring, how
wonderful.

I placed my cup down onto the table and leaned foreword resting my head
in his lap as I lay down and close my eyes. It was that day when I
found my love...forever I dream it.

...to have and to hold...
