Picking up from Pt III, bringing us to the present existance of Drakon, Sioux and Tai. Better if the first three parts were read. I WOULD REALLY LIKE YOUR OPINION ON THIS ONE. | |||

He died in ecstasy, the little boy, twirling his fingers in Tai’s luxuriant hair, thinking he’d never seen anything so beautiful. They lay on Drakon’s bed one night, a long time had passed since his first arrival at the castle and he was now familiar and at ease with his surroundings. He had forgotten –or perhaps blocked out- his past life and simply thought of the present now. He played with strands of her hair, smelling her essence of vanilla and almost remembering another essence he really couldn’t place. “Mychael said he turned me into a *Vampyre* because I surprised him. What did he mean by that?” Drakon asked “Well, first of all, there’s the fact that you’re a Hybrid,” she sat up on the bed, the light of the evening sun landing on her hair and making her naked body the most ghostlike, “But it was your thoughts. He read your thoughts, Drakon. He said they were all wrinkled up and bright and full of color and vacant of fear. Thoroughly different from other kids he’d taken before. He said you thought of a beautiful girl with violet hair,” she looked down at him, her eyes looking glossy and enormous. Drakon frowned, a vague memory of that girl flashing through his mind, memories appearing slowly like fingertips. He saw her, finally, in a blaze of light as she’d laid beneath him and he’d called her name in a passionate whisper. Sioux. Sioux with the violet eyes and the violet hair and the innocent smile. Sioux. Drakon was now sobbing quietly, remembering Sioux's essence. “Sioux,” he whispered “Why don’t you go see her, Drakon? You don’t have to say anything to her, just see her. It will make you feel better and hopefully help you get over it,” she told him. He sat up and looked at her, surprised. “I can do that?” he asked “Yes, you can do that. Go. Chase your dream, Little One,” she’d smiled and he wondered if she knew how human she’d been at that moment. So he’d gone one night after feeding and seen Sioux. It had been painful at first and he’d had to fight the urge to drink her up utterly. But he kept returning every night and it had gotten easier. * * * He laid on her bed sheets now, smelling her lingering essence and weeping for he knew that this meant the beginning of the End. Tweet
