Exactly picking up from where Pt I left off, this time telling what exactly happened to Drakon. FEEDBACK VERY HIGHLY APPRECIATED. | |||
Part III: The Monster Within The *Vampyre* hadn’t killed him. Instead after draining Drakon to the point of death, the *Vampyre* had given Drakon his own blood in return. The taste of that First Blood was indescribable. It was as if his entire life the Blood was all he’d been thirsting for and he hadn’t really lived until he tasted it. After all was done, Drakon lay back on his bed; breathing heavily as the ecstatic shocks passed him and lying very still as his body died. “My name is Mychael,” the *Vampyre* had told him in a deep voice, smiling, “And welcome to the World of Darkness.” “Am I a *Vampyre* now?” Drakon had shyly asked “No, not completely yet. But it will all be further explained when we reach our destination,” Mychael replied, as he motioned for Drakon to follow him in the act of jumping out the window. Drakon landed on both feet and giggled wildly, feeling giddy and -for the first time in his life- utterly and completely young. “But, Mychael,” said he after a while as they briskly walked down the dark street, “Where are we going?” “My boy, still so very young,” said Mychael with a sad smile; “We are going Home.” Drakon stole a glance at Sioux’s window before walking on. Home was a city built around an old castle at the other side of the Forest. It was full of Night Gardens full of blood red roses and night blue roses that glittered in the Moonlight. Drakon watched all around him in awe, his dark sapphire eyes twinkling happily. Inside, the carpets were a dark red, reminding him constantly of blood and the thirst that was starting to emerge at the pit of his stomach. They reached the main hall, full of other *Vampyres* dressed in beautiful, rich colors of the likes he’d never seen before. There seemed all kinds of odd paintings on the walls, and sculptures as well; but they all had two current themes: Blood and the Taking Of The Blood. “Do all victims come here?” Drakon asked Mychael, suddenly in love with Mychael’s bright blue eyes and sparkling blond hair that reached just below his shoulders. “No. In fact, most of them are either killed when fed on or sent to a special part of the city to be educated until old enough to become a *Vampyre*, or simply kept in a place in this castle where they serve for food for other *Vampyres*,” Mychael said gravely. “Why is it you only take children?” Drakon suddenly frowned. “Because, my boy. Adults have no dreams and their minds are not satisfying as we drink from them. So we take the youngsters and nurture their young, bright and colorful minds.” “Why, then, am I here?” asked Drakon “Because you surprised me. You were completely different,” Mychael smiled. Drakon was left flabbergasted, simply couldn’t think of any words to say. Just then, Mychael led him to a room with a luxurious bed clad in gorgeous red-velvet sheets. “This will now be your room. Wait here and someone will come to explain things further,” Mychael kissed his cheek before leaving the room. Once alone, Drakon explored the place. The room was quite large in size and possessed mirrors everywhere –including the ceiling- and its walls were painted pure white. He sat down, feeling the changes in his body. He took off his shirt and found his skin milky white and felt the touch of his fingers still imprinted on his skin even after he’d stopped touching it! His fang teeth had appeared out of nowhere, it seemed, and his vision had become so acute that he could see the pores in his skin completely disappearing before his very eyes. Just then the door opened slowly and an extremely gorgeous girl stepped in. Her hair reached halfway down her upper-arm and was literally the most beautiful and darkest shade of purple. Her long bangs went carelessly inside her bright blue eyes. Her eyebrows were the same dark color of her hair, which was shocking against her white skin and her eyelashes were dark and long. She was smiling at him. “So, you’re Drakon,” she said, in a voice that made her sound like a little girl. She was short of stature, perhaps 5’1 to 5’2 ft. tall, with a rather curvy frame. She wore a long, Goddess-like velvet royal blue dress with silver embroidery at the neckline, hipline, and the lining of the sleeves. “Yes,” he uttered. “How old are you, Drakon?” she asked, her pouty lush lips making her look all the more like a child. “Sixteen,” he said “Sixteen,” she smiled, “That is very young by our standards. But I suppose it wasn’t Mychael’s purpose at first,” she said but it seemed mostly to herself. Drakon sat down on the bed as she shut the door lightly and went to stand in front of him. “My name is Tai,” she said, “And I suppose Mychael has not explained anything to you about all this.” Drakon shook his head no. “Well, this is the City of the Dead, and you’re standing in the very center of it. This castle is where the Ruler of the city and the Court reside,” she said “Are you the Ruler?” Drakon shyly asked, his dark sapphire eyes seeking hers.
