Chapter Six "Vice Admiral Pressman, we are ready for the test." "Begin." And so it did, 30 Cargo shuttles each loaded with an anti-matter storage pod fully filled with 8 tons of anti-deuterium slush, a phase-cloaking device, and a 100 KT nuclear warhead for vaporization. Each shuttle flew outward for 30 seconds on Hyperdrive in a sphere around the target, Neptune. Having spread out in a wide pattern the 30 shuttles aimed themselves at the core of Neptune. The Hyperdrives all cut out at 1 planetary diameter over the cloud tops of the planet and they dove at warp 2. The shuttle's were all in phase cloak and passed effortlessly through the atmosphere of Neptune, coming to rest at the programmed depth 10 miles above the core of the planet. When the computers clock's counted down to the initiation time they all shut down the phase cloaking devices. If they survived 10 seconds they would detonate their 100 KT nuclear warheads. In nanoseconds the antimatter pods rephased into normal space-time, with the very dense core of Neptune occupying the same space-time position. Matter inside the pods was mixed throughout the anti-matter contents and reacted. They were heated to several million degrees totally vaporizing them and the shuttles into plasma. The 8,000 KG of anti-matter on each shuttle turned plasma interacted with the core of Neptune finding all the matter it could consume, resulting in detonation. 8,000 kg of anti-matter, 3,960 kg of cargo shuttle and 4,040 kg of core material were coverted into pure gamma radiation. With all 30 pods exploding within moments of one another across the core of Neptune 48,000 kg of mass-energy were released. Neptune expanded like a hot air balloon, doubling its diameter in the period of less than an hour. "Success Admiral, exactly as modeled." "The Founder's homeworld has been plotted?" "Yes Admiral, our scouts have selectively narrowed it down until we got confirmation. We know where they are." "Very well, launch the attack." And so it ended, the Galaxy class starship Compaq went into hyperdrive, traveling first to Deep Space 9, then through the Wormhole and down the carefully plotted hyperdrive pathway to 1 LY from the Founder's new homeworld. The 60 kamikaze cargo shuttles launched from the three shuttle bays and flew to their preplanned start positions. The 60 shuttles made there suicide runs simultaneously, appearing 1 planetary diameter out and diving at warp 2. The phase-cloaking of their appearance and the speed of there dives allowed all of them to evade the Dominion defenses and reach the core. The return to normal space-time caused the consumption of 96,000 kg of mass-energy, totally shattering the planet and blasting not only the atmosphere but the crust and parts of the mantle away from its core at high speed Jem Hadar ships in orbit never knew what him them for the most part, the time from the shuttles leaving hyperdrive to the explosion and the destruction of the fleet by the flying fragments of the new great link world was minimal. A few dozen Founder's were certain to be located on other planets and on the fleets scattered around the Gamma quadrant. 99% of the race were vaporized though and that was enough, the last few all had been exposed to the changeling virus also developed by Section 31 and would be dead in weeks. 768 BB, 2768 BC, 22,728 AS filled with Jem Hadar warriors and Vorta administrators remained in the Gamma quadrant but news of the debacle at the wormhole was spreading and they were shifting forces in that direction. By this time though the Federation fleets were using selective force to eliminate them, the Jem Hadar in dominion space were after all spread around the borders of their space, not concentrated into fleets.
