A poem from the dark side. | |||
~ The Vampire's Christmas ~ By Twisted Wabbit . It was Christmas and icicles hung from the eaves. Slowly snow fell like tiny, white leaves. A fog curled its way through the dark-night trees, Over rolling meadows like frozen, white seas. . The lights of the village seen from afar Filled the valley like a cluster of stars. But dark were the hills, dark where he roamed; Dark were the dreams he held in his bones. . Nevermore can he go among the people so fair, But forevermore must wander in the cold night air -- And cleave to the cliffs in utter despair -- Forced from the light, forced back to his lair. . Oh, beware you who crave warmth and love that never dies. Better death than to sell your soul for that lie. When your last breath goes, let it go, close your eyes. For it is cold, so very cold, on the other side. Tweet
