about a woman who tells her story as a young girl meeting her life long companion

When I first met my husband he was sitting across my lunch table in 6th
grade he looked so handsome.... he was not very popular but I didnt
mind at all.... all I cared about is the way he looked across that
table at me. It was like there was some kind of connection between the
two of us. I can describe everything about him without even
looking.... he has blue eyes, not baby blue but a pretty blue, light
blonde hair that shined in the light, and the most tender smile. I
never even thought he really noticed me as a person because I was
growing in fast and my mother always told me to watch out for the boys
in higher grades.

As the weeks went by I still could not keep my eyes off of him, he was
so cute back then.... he was in all of my classes I made sure I got to
class when he did so I could find a seat near him just so I could look
at him even if it was at the back of his head I didnt care as long as
it was him. Towards the 2nd month of school I noticed him walking down
the hall holding another girls hand I told myself that she was just his
friend and I wanted to believe myself but I didnt because I knew that
he would get one or a few before I had enough courage to ask him out
myself, or until he asked me out. Every day that I saw him with these
other girls and I just wanted to cry but I held it in, mother always
told me to try and not to let your feelings show, it shows them that
you are nothing but a baby.

June came fast it was almost time to get out of school for the summer
when I saw him all alone near the big tree in the school yard... so I
got the courage to walk over to him and ask him if he had a date for
the end of the year dance and you know what he said oh my god you know
he said no.... so I built up everything that I had in me and asked him
to go with me..... he said yes. I went home that day feeling good
about myself.... just knowing that I had that much courage to say
something to the guy I've been wanting to talk to since the beginning
of the school year.... I got home and told my mother and she cried for
me she let her feelings show just for me.

The dance came and gone, then came summer I didnt see much of him
because his mother sent him to camp for the whole summer... and I was
looking forward to seeing him all summer long. Well summer went slowly
for me because everyday I would mark off the day before it waiting for
the day when I would get to see the boy again.... oh I havent told you
his name yet or mine oh silly me I got so caught up in my story that I
almost forgat.... my name is Mary and his name is Joe. Well anyways...
finally school started again, now I was in the 7th grade and he was in
the 8th.... I didnt get to see him much anymore because he had a
different lunch then me now.... so this year went even slower than the
summer did. But everyday after school he would walk me to my front
door give me a kiss on the cheek and say See you tommorrow Mary.

One day in April my Joe moved to another state.... I dont know why but I
was lost without him I didnt know what to do, wait for him or try to
find someone who would make me as happy as he did... but I decided to
wait and you know what happened school ended and still no Joe but by
the end of the summer Joe's family decided they didnt like it where
they were so they came back.... but it still wouldnt be the same
because he was going into the high school and I was still in the middle
school. He promised to come and pick me up from school everyday and he
kept his promise but nothing felt the same anymore, I missed walking to
school with him every morning and the little chit chats in between
classes but now we couldnt do that for one whole year.... I felt even
more lost.

Thankfully this year went by fast because I couldnt wait to get in the
high school so I did all of my homework and made sure I got good grades
so I could see my Joe all of the time again, in between classes, walk
to and from school with him. So June came and then summer and thank
god I was in the 9th grade finally. Now I got to see my Joe
everyday.... ok lets just skip the 9th grade lets move on to the good
stuff like when I turned 16. He said he had a surprise for me, so he
took me to his house I noticed that his parents werent home so I kinda
knew what was going to happen that night..............

We got into the bedroom, he sat me on the bed and told me if I didnt
want to do this to say something now.... and all I said was I want to.
So he started to reach up my silk blouse to find nothing under it, he
slowly caressed my hard nipples, rolling them in between his fingers.
