the pain of losing a child | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story weighed each one more precisely before it was spoken. I thought I had a lifetime to mend any fences that might get broken. If only I had known. If only I had known. No time to say "I am sorry" No time for forgiving. Apologies and love must be given to the living. I thought I had time. I thought I had years. Then one careless act and one phone call... and forever is replaced with regrets and sorrow and tears. I look at all the faces... look at them mourning. And again I want to shout to them... SHOUT a WARNING Hug those you love today... Never be too tired or to busy... Never push tiny arms away. Do NOT delay ask for and give forgiveness today... Don't fool yourself into thinking tomorrow is just around the corner. Tomorrow any of us could be cast into the role of corpse or mourner. So please remember this my dear friend... in and instant...forever can END... Tweet
