Poem about a love that doesn't want me back | |||
I want to ask you why? And I want you to be honest. Rip the brutal truth from the bottom of your heart, and throw it right at me, and let it hit me-Hard. A huge piece of reality. Maybe then I'll realize and understand and learn. Finally realize that you don't want me. Not now, Not tomorrow, Not EVER. Maybe then I'll understand where you are coming from. You want someone else. I am ugly to you. You don't love me back. And then I'll learn, Not to fall until fallen upon. Not to love back until given love first. Not to give myself completely and willingly until a response is given. Maybe after you take the weight off YOUR shoulders and pass it on to me, I'll understand. Maybe after you take your aching heart and make it feel better by breaking mine, I'll get it. Only until then will I Realize, understand, learn...... and never love again. 12:20 pm Mon 3/27/00 Tweet
