| A poem inspired by the incredible power of wind | |||
A roar that descends deeper into my spirit Than all the world can ever claim A wail of utter pureness that will never let me be The voice whispering through the leaves Like the quiet rustle of a thousand living Stirring from a great sleep It is incredible the release I feel As I am prodded along by it's sharp breath Moving around me, ever invisible But beating down all wills The wind Nothing more daunting Nothing more inspiring Breathing in and out I want to be free And soar in it's carefree arms Taken to new heights, new destinations It is a cry that abounds from me Like the sob of a newborn I cannot help it, it is in my soul The deepest part of my heart It stirs me, moves me Far beyond physical motion The wind, my lover My dream Tweet
